Control Insight 2.5

Software to measure, record, respond to and control events

Control Insight provides the flexibility to use either computer simulations or real-life working components. Using the software students can explore pre-designed environments, manipulating the sensors on-screen to make things happen.

The user can easily change between the modes of Design, Test and Build. Students can design part of a system and test it at any time, providing them with the perfect tool to help them develop their ideas and increase their understanding of control procedures.

Students can work within the animated environments of a wide range of projects. Each project comes complete with three sample files, at various stages of completion, allowing for differentiation in the classroom. Projects include: Petrol Station, Greenhouse, Security System (in a house), Speedtrap, Life, Cash Machine and many more.

REVIEWS

"Older children are showing younger pupils how to do “cool things” with the software. This sharing of ideas stands as testament to the unique way in which Control Insight captures pupils’ imagination."
